The WSL was honored by the Union County Educational Services Commission (UCESC) at their awards dinner on Thursday, May 5. The League has award grants to UCESC schools over the past six years. UCESC operates two alternative high schools and three schools for students with disabilities. They provide many services to students and families including bedside and remedial instructions to students at hospitals, rehabilitation facilities, psychiatric programs and detention centers located throughout Union County. WSL At Spring Fling

WSL had a spot at Westfield’s annual Spring Fling which was held Sunday, May 1, 2011 on a beautiful clear day. A great team put together an interesting booth and we were able to get the word out to the community about the good things we do!

Stock Up During Thrift Shop Bag Day on February 5

The Westfield Service League’s Thrift Shop will hold its annual end-of-winter Bag Day on Saturday, February 5 from 9 AM -4 PM.

On Bag Day, customers may purchase a grocery sized bag for $5.00 and fill it to the brim with clothing, toys, books, shoes, and household items. There is no limit to the number of bags that can be purchased and filled. The week following the sale, the shop’s shelves and racks will be stocked with spring and summer merchandise.
